SCENIC ATLANTIC SEASCAPES
a rainbow on our way to the Med

Rainbow at sea

ainbows are a common sight at sea where the visibility was usually unlimited. Here we see a rainbow off in the distance as the Tidewater chugs along in a flotilla of about 12 destroyer escorts on its way to the Med in 1964. We're looking toward the aft off the starboard side and are located at about amidships.

How about it, sailors - do you have any pictures you'd like to share with us. Please contact us and arrange to have them sent to here so that we can post them here online.
